Bajaj Pulsar N160 Price and Specification
The Bajaj Pulsar N160 is an exciting offering from Bajaj Auto that comes in two variants - single-channel ABS and dual-channel ABS. The single-channel variant is priced at Rs 1,22,854, while the dual-channel version costs Rs 1,29,645 (both ex-showroom Delhi). The single-channel ABS model is available in Caribbean Blue, Racing Red and Techno Grey colours, while the dual-channel variant is offered in Brooklyn Black and Caribbean Blue.
The Pulsar N160 boasts a semi-digital infinity display instrument cluster that is similar to the N250. The analogue pod houses the tachometer, while the LCD screen displays the speedometer, trip meter, fuel level readout, gear position indicator, and time. Additionally, the bike comes with all-LED illumination, including a projector headlight, and a USB charging port.
The Pulsar N160 is powered by a new 164.8cc, single-cylinder, air-oil-cooled engine that generates 16PS of power and 14.65Nm of torque. This engine is slightly less powerful than the NS160, producing 1.2PS less power but 0.05Nm more torque. However, it is 1.55PS and 0.08Nm less powerful than the segment leader, the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V.
The Pulsar N160 uses the same frame as the N250 and comes with a telescopic fork and a monoshock suspension setup. The dual-channel ABS variant has a 37mm telescopic fork, while the single-channel version has a 31mm one. Braking duties are taken care of by discs on both ends, with the dual-channel ABS variant getting a 300mm front disc and the single-channel version coming with a 280mm rotor. The N160 also has fatter tyres compared to the NS160, with a 100-section at the front and a 130-section at the rear.
